Children’s Center for Dance Education presents two exciting and engaging ballets: Carnival of the Animals and The Firebird!
Opening the evening is Carnival of the Animals, a ballet set to a whimsical score by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns.

Featuring original poetry by Todd Schimmel and narrated by Mike White, this ballet is sure to be a treat for all ages!
Closing the evening is The Firebird, an exotic tale based on European folklore and set to a rousing score composed by Igor Stravinski, with our version taking place in the Amazonian rainforests. Watch the story unfold as Prince Galvarino traverses the rainforest and encounters a magical Alicanto (the Firebird), a Princess and her maidens, and the various creatures of the jungle controlled by the evil Boraro.
