Taking on the moniker “Purveyors of Good News,” Ireland-hailing Rend Collective barrels down the road of authenticity and simple old-fashioned Gospel. Grown away from industry or formula, each song they release is deeply connected to the band’s roots in missional community - a group of people, or extended family, who are united through Christian community around a common service and witness to a particular neighborhood or network of relationships – much like the band themselves.
Campfire was the third album by Rend Collective, released in 2013. The band notes, “It feels like just yesterday that we brought our instruments to a chilly Northern Irish beach and sang around the campfire with a few of our friends. We had no idea we were standing at the edge of a global worship movement!”
In celebration of the Campfire decade anniversary, the band is performing a completely different kind of show with all the cozy campfire feelings and folksy nostalgia of that era, plus all the new classics they’ve written since. The Rend Collective: Campfire Tour is praised as a completely different live performance - even if you’ve seen it 10 times already this year - you haven’t seen this!
