Evansville, IN - MAY 20, 2022 – Ten-time GRAMMY® nominee and platinum-selling artist Tauren Wells will bring his energetic and life-impacting 'Joy in the Morning Tour' to Old National Events Plaza on November 19 of this year. Wells is a celebrated recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter with six number one hits and GMA Dove Awards, a Billboard Music Award nomination and songs accumulating over a billion global streams.
Wells’ music uniquely connects contemporary Christian and Gospel with elements of pop, hip-hop and R&B. His debuted single, ‘Love Is Action,’ held the no. 1 spot on CHR radio for 8 weeks in 2017, followed by GRAMMY®-nominated and RIAA platinum-certified ‘Hills and Valleys,’ which landed on Christian Airplay’s Top 10 for several weeks. In 2018, Wells released ‘Known,’ the RIAA gold-certified single which reached no. 1 on multiple charts including Christian Airplay and Christian AC Songs, garnering a 2019 GRAMMY® Award nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song and Billboard Music Award for Top Christian Song.
